Santo Contra Los Clones
''Santo vs. The Clones'' ((スペイン語:Santo Contra Los Clones)) is a Cartoon Network Latin American original animated series dating back to 2004, and consist of 5 short episodes. It was weekly aired every Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM only and exclusively in Mexico.〔(Santo VS Clones Medios Impresos - El Hijo del Santo )〕 Created by Carlo Olivares Paganoni, who already made in the same year the short pilot ''Bobots'', this series is an homage to the legendary defunct Luchador wrestler enmascarado and film actor Rodolfo Guzmán Huerta (better known as El Santo). His son, El Hijo del Santo, serves as developer.
In 2007, was announced that its international series version is in development at Cartoon Network Studios, but was eventually released in 2008 as an unaired pilot entitled ''Mask of Santo''.〔(production - Joshua Izzo )〕
==Plot==
Set in Mexico City, the series follows the adventures of the homonym wrestler in the role of a superhero who must try to stop the plans of Dr. Clone, an evil scientist. He is determined once again to kill him creating clones, figured in his old enemies (thanks to their DNA), and to use it to dominate the world.
